Dinwiddie County DATE: 1896, date of oldest grave. OWNERS: Watson and Ashton Hawkins. (1936) DESCRIPTION: There are no tombstones to be found in the graveyard; nor is the plot enclosed. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: The following persons are known to be buried in the graveyard: Robert Gibbs, died June 12, 1892, aged 87 years. Susan Hamilton Hawkins Gibbs, wife of Robert Gibbs, died July 2, 1905, aged 73 years. James Hawkins, died in November 1896, aged 84 years. Dollie A. Watts, died January 30, 1924, aged 80 years. Ada B. Wells, died June 15, 1925, aged 67 years. Armistead Gibbs, died December 1932, aged 67 years. Turner Hawkins, died March 31, 1935, aged 66 years.
