Dinwiddie County DATE: Unknown. OWNERS: Mrs. Nettie Bass. (1937) DESCRIPTION: The burial ground is located in the woods and one tombstone is to be seen. There is no fence surrounding the plot. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: The following inscription is to be seen on the marker: Burwell Brown A native of Virginia Was born in the year 1777 Son of Hezekiah Brown And Sarah his wife Here lies the body of an old Tar Where is he now? God knows where. The following person is buried in the plot, who has no tombstone: Mr. William Moore.
