Dinwiddie County DATE: The first person was buried beneath the church in the year 1800. OWNERS: The owner of the property are the trustees of the church. DESCRIPTION: The tombstones with the inscriptions are fastened to the wall of the church, and are medium size marble stones. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: The following inscriptions are to be found on the markers: Sacred to the memory of Reverend Devereaux Jarratt Rector of this (Bath Parish) Nat. ‘17 Ob. January 1800 Sacred to the memory of Mrs. Martha Jarratt Wife of Reverend D. Jarratt Nat 17, 14 Ob.
