DINWIDDIE COUNTY, VA - CEMETERIES – Stell Cemetery ----¤¤¤---- Source: Library of Virginia Digital Collection LVA Titled Files: Survey Report, Stell family graveyard: 1936 Apr. 1 Research made by Dorothy Gray Pilout Cemetery Location: On the south side of White Oak Road (near Wilkinson’s store) and 6 miles north of Dinwiddie Court House, Virginia. Dinwiddie County DATE: 1856, date of the oldest grave. OWNERS: The Stell family. DESCRIPTION: This old graveyard is on a hill and is enclosed with a picket fence. There is a large tree in the graveyard, the roots of which have grown around two of the tombstones, pushing them into a slanting position. There are many tombstones and the graveyard is well kept. Stell Son of Robert T. and Ann Stell Born Jan. 15, 1843 Died Sept. 4, 1866 Joseph E. Goulder Born October 9, 1830 Died December 1, 1896 Aged 66 Years God’s finger touched him and he slept. Adlena C. Goulder Born September 30, 1837 Died October 30, 1895 Aged 58 years-1 month Resting in hope of a glorious resurrection Ladora V. Wilkinson Born June 28, 1845 Died March 18, 1932 At Rest Richard A.
