Dinwiddie County DATE: The first death is reported to have been in 1909. OWNERS: Descendants of John Stith Thomas, and Miss Lucy Thomas lives in the Thomas home, located near this graveyard. (1936) DESCRIPTION: This graveyard is not enclosed, and there are no stones to mark the graves, but the following members of the Thomas family are buried here. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: John Stith Thomas born in Brunswick County April 13, 1831 died in Dinwiddie County November 27, 1909 Emily Frances Heath Thomas born in Prince George County August 4, 1885 died in Dinwiddie January 17, 1909 She was the wife of John Stith Thomas Members of family buried here after 1860: Lelia Bell Meade Thomas, wife of Jeter B. Thomas A child of Jeter B. and Lelia M. Thomas Four children of John Stith and Emily Heath Thomas Lucy Meade Thomas, a daughter of John S. Thomas, Jr., and Jennie Meade Thomas.
