Dinwiddie County DATE: 1859, date of oldest grave. OWNERS: Abner Butterworth and Brothers. (1937) DESCRIPTION: There are tombstones to be found in the burial ground and it is over-run with honeysuckle. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: The following inscriptions are to be seen on the tombstones: Sarah K. Young Daughter of Archibald Thweatt Born July 18, 1834 Married February 24th, 1857 Died May 22nd, 1859 Erected by her devoted husband, William D. Young In loving remembrance of Archibald Thweatt Born January 15, 1810 Died January 29, 1877 He doeth all things well. In loving remembrance of Mrs. Sarah Catherine Thweatt Born May 1, 1814 Died July 22, 1899 Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord. In remembrance of Isaiah Green Thweatt Born August 3, 1845 Died in 1867 Aged about 22 years Jesus loves the pure and Holy.
