Will of Rice Eanes, 1832 - Dinwiddie Co.VA. Will of Rice Eanes - 1832 (Will Book 1, Page 128, Dinwiddie Co.VA.) In The name of God Amen. I Rice Eanes of the County of Dinwiddie and state of Virginia, being of sound mind and memory, do make this my last Will and Testament,revoking all others. Firstly it is my desire for all my just debts and funeral expenses to be paid. Item, I lend to my wife Frances V. Eanes one hundred and fifty acres of land which is improved together with all my household and kitchen furniture, with the exception of one feather Bed and furniture, Stock of all kind and plantation utinsels during her natural life then the said land to be equally divided between my two sons Winfield Jackson and Rice Eanes to them and their heirs forever. Item I give to my daughter Elizabeth F. Still Seventy five acres of land together with one Feather Bed and furniture to her and her heirs forever. Item I give to my other three children Eppes William D. and Richard T. Eanes, the balance of my land to be equally divided, to them and their heirs forever. Item I give to my son Richard T. Eanes a sufficiency of what I have loaned my wife Frances V. Eanes to board him until he becomes of age or may think proper to get his own support. I hereby appoint my wife Frances V. Eanes Executrix named, who made oath thereto, and together with Archer J. Bevill & Thompson Stewart her securities, entered into and acknowledged a bond in the penalty of three thousand dollars conditioned as the law directs, Certificate is granted her for obtaining a probat of the said Will in due form.
