Will of Daniel Lamb, 1830 - Dinwiddie Co.VA. Will of Daniel Lamb - 1830 (Will Book 1, page 48, Dinwiddie Co.VA.) In the name of God Amen. I Daniel Lamb of the County of Dinwiddie and State of Virginia, do make publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void all former Wills made by me. First, after all my just debts are paid I give to my son Robert Thomas Lamb one Mahogany Sideboard and one Mahogany Secretary desk to him and his heirs forever. Secondly, I lend to my wife Jane S. Lamb during her natural life, all the rest of my estate of what nature or kind soever it may be, not herein particularly disposed of, and after her death, I give the same to my daughter Mary Jane Lamb to her and her heirs forever. And lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my friend William Boisseau executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this sixth day of August in the year one thousand eight hundred and thirty. This last Will and Testament of Daniel Lamb deceas'd. was proved by the oath of Benjamin Johnson a subscribing witness and ordered to be continued for further proof. And at another Court held for the said County on the 18th day of October 1830, This Will was further and fully proved by the oath of William E.Boisseau Jr. another subscribing witness and ordered to be recorded. William Boisseau the executor named personally appeared in Court and renounced his right to qualify as such which is ordered to be entered of record. And on the motion of James H. Boisseau who made oath, and together with William Boisseau his security entered into and acknowledged a bond in the penalty of $2000 conditioned as the law directs Certificate is granted the said James H.
