In the name of God Amen I William Dunn of Eliz City County being very weak in body but of a sound and perfect mind do make my Last Will and Testament. I Recomend my soul unto Almighty God hopeing for pardon and forgiveness and Life Eternal through Jesus Christ, my body I give to the ground there to Lie in hope of a resurrection and glory, my worldly estate I give as follows --- I give unto my sonn William Dunn one brass kettle and two parts of my Will, only my daughter is to have priviledge of them for Here one use as long as they Live Togather. I give all the rest of my estate both within doors and without doors to be Equally divided between my wife and my five children Elizabeth Dunn, Ann Dunn, Cadron(?) Dunn, William Dunn and Mary Dunn after all Debts is paid. I do hereby constitute and appoint my well beloved daughter Elizabeth Dunn Executre of this my Last Will and Testament and my daughter Elizabeth to give my sonn William To years cooleing (schooling?), I make also Henry Dunn & Thomas Wilson Overseers of this my Last Will and Testament and soe revokeing all former wills and testament. Edward (x) Williams Eliz City County At a Court held the 18th January 1726 The Last Will and Testament of William Dunn Decd was proved in Court by the oaths of Elizabeth Dunn and the same is admitted to Record and Certd. for probate granted the Excrx thereof giving Bond and Security as the Law Directs.
