All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Janet King JPerdue192@aol.com October 19, 2010, 3:06 pm Source: Essex County Court Records Written: March 18, 1728 Know all men by these presents that we Ann Brizendine, Evan Davis and Richard Brizendine are held and firmly bound unto William Dangerfield, Salvator Muscoe, Robert Brooks, William Brooks, Alexander Parker and Thomas Shrassly, Gould Aushire of the County of Essex in the sum of two hundred pounds stock to which payment would and was and truly to be made we do bind ourselves, our heirs, Exec., Adm jointly and personally to the said justices our bonds firmly by those present witness our hand and seal this 18th day of March 1728. The condition of this obligation is such that if the above bond by Ann Brizendine Adm of all the goods, chattels and credits of William Brizendine deceased do make or cause to be bound a perfect inventory of all and singular his goods, chattles and credits of the said deceased which have or shall come to the hands, possession or knowledge of Mrs. Ann or any person or persons for her and the same to make to exhibit or cause to be established into the County Court of Essex at such time as she shall be hereunto required by the said court and the same goods, chattels, credits and all other the goods, chattels and credits of the said deceased at the time of his death or while at anytime after shall come to the hands or possession of this said Ann or in the hands or possession of any person or persons for her to whole and truly administer according to law and further do make a full and fair acct herein where hereunto required by the said court and all her interest and residue of the said goods, chattel, and all her interest and residue of the said goods, chattels and credits shall be found remaining upon the said Adm Account Record being first examined and allowed to by the Justices of the court for recording and pay unto such person or persons respectively by the said justice by the order or judgement shall first persuant to the law in that case made and proved by and if it shall hereafter appear that any last Will and Testament was made by the said deceased and the Adm or Exec herein named do exhibit the same into the said court making request to have it allowed and approved accordingly if the said Ann being hereunto required to render and deliver up her letters of Adm approbation of such this bond being first and admitted in the said court, then this obligation to be void and of none effect - we promise to be and swear in full force, power and virture.
