States they sell "all the land on which I live" and all of his livery to Thomas Gouldman. This land comprised of 100 acres and bounding on the land of Daniell Nowle and on the land of Robert Parker, Lake Meland of Benjamin Landrum and on the land of Mark Bouleware together with all house edifices and appurtenances there unto belonging to he or his wife appertaining to have and to hold all the said land and appurtenances . . . "Betty is unable to travel to our said county of Essex to make acknowledgment thereof." (This is a release of dower on the land they sold Thomas Gouldman so that the deed could be recorded.)
