  I do with the advice of Council hereby certify that Ann Davis, widow of 
Abraham Davis who was a private in the Army of the United States and died in the 
service thereof, is continued on the list of pensioners with an allowance of 10 
pounds yearly commencing the first day of January 1790.  Given under my hand as 
Governor of the Commonwealth, at Richmond, this 5th day of June 1793.  Signed:

Wednesday 13 May 1812--letter of power of attorney for Ann Davis' estate by 
Edmond Davis.  Received $40 dollars as settlement.
