Item I give to my grand Daughter Mary Cauthorn Daughter of Thomas Cauthorn one Shilling Sterling Item I give and devise to my son Richard Cauthorn the Parcel of Land I purchased of John Dyke lying on Bushes Mill Swamp containing Fifty Acres more or less to him my Said son and to his heirs forever. Item I give Devise and bequeath to my two sons James and Vincent my dwelling Plantation and the four Slaves following by name Bristol, Betty, Robin & Frank (only excepting the future Increase of the said Betty and them I would have disposed of in manner following, the first to my son Richard, the second to my son Henry & the third to my son William to my said sons and their heirs forever to be delivered to them as they shall attain to the age of Eighteen months) The Rest of her increase and the Land above mentioned with the other slaves to be equally Divided between by two sons James & Vincent and their heirs forever Item I give to my son James Cauthorn the bed & furniture whereon I usually Lye. Item I give to my son Vincent Cauthorn the bed & Furtniture now in his possession I also give to my two sons James and Vincent my part of the Still we Purchased together only my son Vincent to account & pay to my Estate two pounds fourteen Shillings & Eight Pence Current money Item I give to my Daughter Catharine Duncan my Negro girl Jenny to her & her heirs forever Item I give to my daughter Ann Cauthorn my Negro boy Jack and the bed and Furni. whereon she usually lies to her & her heirs forever All the rest and Residue of my estate of what nature or kind soever I gave to my five children hereafter named, that is to say Richard, Henry, William, Catherine, and Ann to be Equally divided amoung them and their heirs forever, but for as much as I have advanced to some of my five Children Last named some part of my Estate it is my will that Regard be had to the account I have kept of what I have given to Such Children that on the Division of my Estate them Childen have had Received part of my Estate may Come in for no more than will make up with what they have received an Equall Share Lastly I appoint my two sons James & Vincent Cauthorn Executors of this my Last will and Testament in witness whereof I have unto set my hand and seal this 28th day of November Anno_ Domini. 1747 his Signed Sealed Published and declared by} Rich R.
