WILL OF WILLIAM WILLIAMSON, 1742 - ESSEX Co., VA JANUARY 2, 1742 (Essex County Wills No. 7 [1743-7], Pp. 24/5) In the Name of God Amen I William Williamson In the County of Efsex & parrish of South farnham now being Sick and in body but of of (Sic) Perfect Sence and memory thanks be to almighty God and Calling to mind the unfertain Stait of this Mortal Life and that it is appinted for all Martall man once to die doe make this my last Will and Testament in mannar and forme following. First I give and bequeath my Soul to Almighty God that gave it an my body to y Earth to be buryed in a deasant mannar as my Executrs. Shall thinks fitt Item after just debts paid I Land to my Loveing Wife Ann Williamson all my pafsanable Efstate dureing her Natorol Life Item as for my Land I land to my son William Williamfon all that part on ye north side of ye Cool Spring branchdureing his Natural Life and after his dsese to his daughter Mary Williamson and hir hairs Lawfully begotton of hir body and in Case She die Without Such hier then I give it to his daughter Rachil Williamfon to hir and hir hiers for Ever Item as for that part of my Land I now Live on on (Sic) ye South Side of the Cool Spring branch I give and bequeath to my Son Edward Williamson to him and his heirs for Ever and one fathar bed that he now Lies on Item I give and bequeath to my Gran dauter Mary Williamson my own bed that I now Lye on With all ye fornitude belonging to it and on Large Coboard to hir and hir hiers for Ever Item After my Loveing Wife deife I give to my son Wm Williamfon and Edwd. Williamfon and my daughto Mary Webb all the Rest of my Efstate to be Equally devoided amoungst them Lastly I doe appoint my Loving Wife Ann Williamfon and my Son Wm Williamfon to be my Excetrs. of this my Last Will and Testament avoiding all others Wills hereafter made by me Whereunto I have set my hand and fixed my Seall this January 2 Day 1742 his William Williamfon (Seal) Mark Test Thos.
