I give my son Samuel Bayly the tract of land about two hundred acres part of a tract of land I purchased of John Edmondson lying under the blue ridge joining the land my son Pierce Bayly sold also the land my son Mountjoy sold to Demsy Carroll but if he dies without heirs of his body lawfully begetten or selling it, its my desire Joseph Bayly should Enjoy it and for want of such heirs to my Son Tapley I give to my son Joseph Bayly and my Son Taply Bayly all the remainder of my land under the Blue ridge, Joseph Bayly to have the part my Quarter was on and Taply Bayly the part that Boggess is on joining Francis Eronemus to be equally divided if Either of them should did without Heir of their body lawfully begotten or selling their part, it is my Desire the other brother should Enjoy his part. I give to my Son Robert Bayly all this Tract of land I now live on which I purchased of Mr. Traverse Waugh but if he dies without Lawfull Heirs or Selling the said Tract of Land its my desire that his brother Samuel Bayly Shold Enjoy the Said Land. I give my daugter Nancy Bayly the warehouses and lotts thereunto belonging also the lotts whereon my wife lived and died in the Town of Colchester, but if she dies without Heirs of her body lawfully begotten then I give & bequeath the whole to my son Pierce Bayly. I give to my grand Son Robert Boggess that land I purchased of Samuel Bayly in Fauquier containing by Estimation one hundred and Eighty acres when he arrives to the age of Twenty one years and if he dies without a lawfull Heir or Selling it its my desire by Grand daughter Betty Boggess shall enjoy the Same I also desire my Executors hereafter Named m [a]y give her the Said Betty Boggess one hundred pounds Lawfull money out of my Estate and also one Hundred poinds to my Grand daughter Nancy who Married John Singleton. I give my cousin Molly Willson my old Black mare or Colt which Ever She Chooses to take after my decease; there is three or four Tracts of Land I have not yet mentioned in my will which I desire may be Equally divided among my seven sons there is my Mill Tract & William Eaton and Robert Whitleys Tract lying on popeshead which I desire my be Equally divided according to the quantity and Quality between my Sons Pierce Bayly, William Bayly, Samuel Bayly, Joseph Bayly, Mountjoy Bayly, Taply Bayly and Robert Bayly , alls all my other Estate real and personal after my just debts is paid to be Equally divided among my seven Sons. I do appoint Pierce Bayly William Bayly and Samuel Bayly my sole Executors of this my last will and Testament. Labat At a Court held for the County of Fairfax XXth May 1782 This will was proved by the oath of Anthony Labat and at Court held for the County afd the 16th September in the Year afd, this will was proved in the Court by pearce Bayly William Bayly & Samuel Bayly Executors herein named who made Oath Thereto and the Same being further proved by the oath of William Thompson is admitted to record and the Said Executors having performed what the Law requires a Certificate is granted them for obtaining a probate thereof in due form.
