Foster (Mrs. Carter Foster) Cemetery Location: .6 mile southwest of Markham, Virginia, on Route #688. Corner of land now (1937) owned by Alec Green and adjoining the orchard of Thomas Foster. Fauquier County These were two of the oldest citizens of Farrowsville, now a part of Markham. Mr. Alec Green, present owner of the land has recently enclosed the sacred spot with a substantial stone wall, and had the old stones re-set. In Memory of Nimrod Farrow who died June 10, 1830 Aged 64 years Sacred to the Memory of Dorothea G. Farrow wife of the late Nimrod G. Farrow who departed this life on the 26th day of January 1843 in the 79th year of her age She lived the life of a Christian, and died with faith in her redeemer
