Foster Cemetery Location: On a high hill on Aspen Hill Farm. 3 ¼ miles southwest of Paris, Virginia. Fauquier County The Nalley graves are the only ones in this section to be found with such quaint burial vaults. These are about four feet wide and ten feet long, inside measurements. The walls are of stone and mortar, and are about fourteen inches thick. They extend down deep into the ground, and it is said the vaults have stone floors. The top is sort of a gable roof, of tin, with the eaves coming down below the top of the wall. At each end is a window with four panes of glass (some of these are gone now). At each end are stone slabs (tombstones_ with the names and dates of the births and deaths of each occupant.
