A. W. Smith C. C. Note by contributor: The 'Sct' may stand for 'security,' inasmuch as it was not submitted for recording that same day. Enfeoff, according to Black's law dictionary, is 1)to invest with a fief or fee; to invest (any one) with a freehold estate by the process of feoffment 2) to give in vassalage; to make subservient. For researchers: this man is also Daniel William Blundel, as he is called in other places I have found, and he is about 46 years old, the son of Thomas and Mary (Francess) Blundel. Some of his childrens are called Blundell, and some Blundon. The name also variously appears as Blunell, Blundle, Blundall, Blunden/in, Blunder, Blandon, Bladon and Blondel, etc. in old records for members of this family. Submitted by: Tosca
