It is ordered that it be certified that she ought to be admitted as a pensioner. P. Brooke I do with the advice of the Council hereby certify that Jemima Howell, widow of George Howell, who was a private in the Virginia Regiment and died in the service of the United States is entitled to the sum of ten pounds yearly: to commence from the 1st day of January 1787. Given under my hand as Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, at Richmond, this 25th day of January, 1787. T. September 2, 1830--Jemima departed this life.
