Tampa, Fl., Hillsborough County, Monday, November 5, 2007.
Edith W. Athey, died Friday, November 2, 2007. Edith was born July 11, 1917 in
Hopewell, Virginia to Her Birth Parents, Ralph and Mary White, though Her Daddy
and Mother were Harry and Essie White. Edith and Her Husband of 40 years, Alan 
J. Athey lived in Norfolk, Va. then Forest Hills, N.Y. and finally moved to 
Tampa, Fl. in 1948 to raise their family. Edith was a docent at the Museum of 
Science and Industry in Tampa. Charter member of St. John's Methodist Church.
Predeceased by Her Husband, Allen and is survived by Her Sister-in-Law, Jean 
Dexter and Brother-in-Law, William Tanner and Survivors Her Daughters and Sons-
in-Law Wanda and Lamar Miley and Pamela and David Gray. Mema also leaves behind 
Her GrandChildren and their Spouses, Sheri and Rob Webb, Michael and Jennifer
Wiley and Rick Wiley and Brad Hall and Her Great-GrandChildren, Taylor and 
Michela Miley and Lauren and Jack Webb. If you will, donations may be made to
