                            John E. Williams
					

		Mr. E. Williams, an old Confederate veteran
		a member of Co. C, 8th Virginia Infantry,
		answered the last roll call February 27.
		He was 75 years old. He enlisted when the
		Civil War broke out and served four years.
		He was well thought of by everyone and 
		will be greatly missed in the community.
		He is survived by his wife, one son and
		four adopted children.
