I William Lee of Floyed County and State of Virginia being weak in body but of sound mind possessing of my memory for which I thank the Lord and calling to mind the uncertainty of human life an being desirous to dispose of all such --- worldly estate as it hath pleased God to bless me with. I give and bequeath the same in the manner and form that is to say first I desire that after my decease that all of my just debts be paid off and after all of my just debts be paid of I bequeath unto my dear wife Polley Lee the home place that she now lives on to raise her children on all so I bequeath unto John W. Lee a certain tract of land that I purchased of William Via ???? containing of two hundred acres more or less all so I give unto my two other sons Samuel Alexander Lee, William Abel Lee that certain tract of land purchased of Edward Wood containing of three hundred acres more or less, also I give unto my son Jonathan R. Lee the place that I now live on adjoining the lands of Ambrose Briant deceased with his to the creek then up the creek as it meanders to the fork thence the left hand fork up to big-????? Wood's gap thence up the right hand fork to the back line on the main line the number of acres not known, also I give and bequeath unto my daughter all the balance of my land being on the west side of the Blue Ridge that is to Nancy E???? Lee-also Sarah Elizabeth Lee also Mary Jane Lee P????h Lurena Lee, also I give unto my dear wife Polly Lee as much property as she may desire to raise her children on and what property she may have as the children becomes of age to divide amongst them as she thinks proper, also my wish and desire is that German Lee shall act with my wife as agent for my children, this the last will and testament of William Lee, given under my hand this the ?? day of March in the year of Christ one thousand eight hundred and fifty one.
