Lyle Baptist Church.

DESCRIPTION:

The large cemetery is on the eastern side of the hill rising gently from the 
brooklet flowing through the woods on the west side of the Church, and almost 
within a stone’s throw of it.

On the east side of the church hill, rising rather abruptly toward the church, 
is a spring of bubbling water from the rocks around, whose waters flow into the 
cemented pool below where one is “buried in baptism to rise into newness of 
life”.

accompanied her as pupil in _____ Co.
The teacher nursed a friend of hers ill with influenza.
The teacher contracted the disease, her sister,
Judith, nursed her until Ellen died, or Judith
had to give up with the same dread disease,
and they lie side by side.
