Moore et als to Attkisson THIS INDENTURE of Sale made this 29th day of September in the year of our Lord one Thousand eight hundred and three between (Warren Moore of the County of Fluvanna for himself as also Attonrey in fact for Jesse Moore and Judith Coker) Abraham A. Strange & Molley his wife, Easter Oglesby, Rebeccah Seay, Susanna Perrey and William Moore Legatees of Jno. Moore deceast of the one part and Michael Attkisson of the County of Fluvanna of the other part. WITNESSETH that for and in consideration of the Sum of Ninety five pounds Current money of Virginia to us in hand paid the receipt wherof we do hereby acknowledge and ourselves satisfyde and paid, HATH granted Bargained Sold Enfeoffed and confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain Sell Enfeoff and confirm unto the said Michael Atkisson one certain Tract & parcel of Land lying and being in the County of Fluvanna on the North side of Hardware River containing ninety five Acres by accurate Survey it being the Land which John Moore died possesst of and bounded as follows Beginning on the River Bank N 1 1/2 E twenty three poles, thence N 6 1/2 S one hunderd and fifty five poles to Pointer, thence N. 4 1/2 W Thirty eight poles to Several Blaisd Saplings thence N 68 W Seventy poles to the River thence down the River to the first Station unto him the sd Michael Attkisson and his Heirs Executors Administrators and assigns forever and I the sd Warren Moore for myself as also Attorney in fact for Jesse Moore and Judith Coker Abraham A. Strange and Molley his Wife Easter Oglesby, rebeccah Seay, Susanna Perry & William Moore do by these presents Covenent and agree for ourselves our Heirs Executors Administrator and Assignes to and with the said Michael Attkisson his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns that we will forever hereafter defend and Warrent the hereby Sold premises with all and every of the apprtineneces thereto being or in wise appertaining unto him the said Michael Attkisson his Heirs Executors administrators and assigns forever from the Lawful claim of ourselves our Heirs Executors administrators or assigns or the claim or demand of any other person or persons whatever. At a Court held for Fluvanna County on the 27th day of February 1804 This Deed was this day in open Court proved to be the Act of Warren Moore for himslef and as Attorney in fact for Jesse Moore and Judith Coker and Abraham A Strange, Esther Oglesby & Rebecca Seay parties therto by the Oaths of Austin Moore and John Moore two of the Witnesses thereto and Ordered to be certified as to them and thesd Deed was also proved as to Susanna Perry another party thereto by the Oaths of Hezekiah Stone Micajah Stone and Lewis Mayo Three other Witnesses thereto and as to her ordered to be recorded And: At a Court held for thesd County on the 23rd day of April 1804 The said Deed was further proved to be the Act of the said Warren Moore for himself and as Attorney in fact for Jesse Moore & Judith Coker and Abraham A Strange, Esther Oglesby and Rebecca Seay by the Oath of Jacob Mayo Junr. another witness thereto and ordered to be recorded.
