Will of Robert Burton Payne, 1784 - Fluvanna Co. VA I Robert Burton PAYNE of Fluvanna County being sick and weak in Body, but in mind and memory perfectly sound, do make this my last Will and Testament. First it is my desire that all my just Debts be paid, and for the purpose of accomplishing the same, do impower and direct my Executors hereafter to be named, t sell and dispose of my Estate either real or personal as to them shall seem right, and most for the advantage of my Family. The balance of my Estate real and personal, I lend to my beloved wife Margaret Sidenham PAYNE during her natural life, and after her decease to be equally divided between my Children Lucy Marton PAYNE, Richard Bichworth PAYNE, Robert Burton PAYNE, Molley Jordan PAYNE, Peggy Sidenham PAYNE, and Betsey Brockenbrough PAYNE, I give to them and their Heirs forever. And I do hereby appoint my Brothers George PAYNE, and Joseph PAYNE my Executors to this my last Will and Testament.
