Belcher Estate Conveyance, 1814 Deed Book #7 - page 249 - Microfilm 0031499 FHC Belcher to Belcher- B of S - Olglethorpe County, Geogia Know all men by these Presents that I, Matthew Belcher of the County and State aforesaid, for and in consideration of the sum of fore hundred dollars to me in hand paid by Isham Belcher of the State of Virginia have bargained, Sold, conveyed and relinquished unto the said Isham Belcher all my right title, interest and claims to my portion of my deceased fathers estate who was by the name of Francis Belcher and made and executed his will in Amelia County in the said State of Virginia on the 29th day of July in the year 1781. To have and to hold unto the said Isham Belcher my said portion of my said fathers estate in as full simple & perfect a manner as the same is or may be held by any one of the legatees of the said Francis Belcher. In Witnesseth whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this 29th day of Dec 1814. Sealed Signed and Delivered in the presence of Barnabus Arthur, John Arthur.
