I commit my Soul to God who gave it. And my Body to the dust from whence it came hoping it to be buried in a decent and Christianily manner and as for my Worldy goods after paying my burial expenses and all my Just Debts I give and bequeath to my wife Mary Bowsman after my Death my whole Estate which I now possess as long as she liveth if she doth not marry again after her death my whole Estate & Sixty pounds which my son George Bowsman hathe in his hands now, the whole to be divided equally between my children which is these, George, Jacob, Adam, Susannah, Elizabeth, Mary, my son Philip his trade and ten Dollars to be his part and no more, my Children of my first wife is these, Larance, John, Caterine, Sophia, Frany, Margaret and Eve to have four shillings each and no more. I leave and desire Jacob Beckner to act and be my Executor of my Estate. In witness hereof I have hereunto set my hand & affixed my seal this twenty third day of September one thousand eight hundred & Six. Larance (his X mark) Bousman (seal) Test. This Last Will and Testament of Lawrence Bowsman decd was proved by the oath of Stephen Sink and by the solemn affirmation of Micheal Crook the Witnesses hereto and ordered bo be recorded and on the motion of Jacob Beckner the Executor herin named who solemnly affirmed in the form perscribed by Law and gave bond and Security conditioned as the Law directs certificate is granted him for obtaining a probate in due form.
