Written: December 18, 1925

I James O. Perdue being of sound mind and disposing memory do make this my last 
Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me heretofore made.
First: I direct the payment of all my just debts and buriel expenses.
Second: I devise and bequeath all my real estate lying and being in Franklin 
County, Va. to my beloved wife Ida M. Perdue for the term of her natural life 
and at her death equally divided between all my children both by my first wife 
and my second wife.
Third: As to my personal estate money & bonds I devise the same to my beloved 
wife Ida M. Perdue for the term of her natural life with privalage to use any 
of the principal if she needs same and at her death what is left I want to be 
divided equally between all my children both by my first wife and by my second 
wife.
Lastly: I appoint my wife Ida M. Perdue Executrix of this my last Will and 
direct that she be allowed to qualify as such without surety on her official 
bond.
     Witness my hand and seal this the 18 day of December 1925.

James Otey Perdue born 9 Dec 1859 Franklin Co., VA to John Perdue & Asenath Ann 
Bennett. He married first to Nancy F. Hunt born 8 May 1863 died 22 Nov 1884 and 
second to Ida M. Preston born 9 Jan 1867 died 14 Dec 1949. James O. Perdue died 
5 Nov 1935 and was buried Perdue Cemetery located on Rt. 40 in Franklin Co., VA.
