VanMeter Cemetery Location: 9 miles south of Winchester, Virginia on Route #11 about .3 mile on east side of road. Frederick County DATE: 1858, date of oldest grave. OWNERS: Anthony’s Kline’s family. (1936) DESCRIPTION: This grave yard is privately owned and is not kept in good condition. There is no fence and stock run over it. There are several graves unmarked and some have ordinary stone markers, with no inscriptions. There are only two inscriptions of early dates, and two of recent dates.
