Book 16, 1772-1778 p. 226: 5 Nov 1773 Court ordered that John Fauts do pay Anthony Knisly 1800 lbs tobacco for the attendance of himself and Barbary his wife 18 days each and travelling 30 miles 5 times each as witnesses for him at the suit of Ewing. p. 263: 9 Dec 1773 Court ordered that John Fauts do pay Anthony Nisely 330 lbs tobacco for the attendance of himself and Barbary his wife 3 days each and travelling 30 miles each as witnesses for him at the suit of Ewing. p. 280: 2 March 1774 Court ordered that John Fauts do pay Anthony Knisly and Barbary his wife 560 lbs tobacco for 4 days attendance and travelling 30 miles twice as witnesses for him at the suit of Ewing. Ordered that John Fauts do pay Anthony Knisly Junr 140 lbs tobacco for attending court 2 days and travelling 30 miles as witness for him at the suit of Ewing.
