Signed: Sibby Hillion Teste: Jeremiah Ridmon April 26, 1786 I do with the advice of the Council hereby certify that Sibby Hillion, widow of John Hillion who was a private in the 3rd Virginia Regiment and died in the service of the United States is allowed the sum of eight pounds yearly which allowance is to commence from the 1st day of January 1796. Given under my hand as Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, at Richmond, this 14th day of December, 1786. Signed: Beverly Randolph Randolph certified Sibby again in 1791, 1792, Wood in 93, Brooke in 1796, Wood in 1799 and Rae, Lt. Governor, in 1806 1808--certified by Jno. Tyler as continued on list. Contributor's Note: Sibby died September 17, 1821. Thomas Madden, administrator of her estate, received the remainder of pension in the amount of $125 on behalf of William Hilling of Union Township, Pennsylvania. William Hilling produced a document in which everything Sibby had was under his power of attorney. Document was executed in Fayette County Pennsylvania on the 8th of June 1825.
