William Hickman married Rebecca B. Harris Jan. 30th 1787 at the home of her father Benjamin Harris in Calvert Co. Maryland. William Hickman died Jan. 31st, 1827. Rebecca Hickman his widow applied for his pension Sept 16th, 1839 at which time she was 68 years old and a resident of Jefferson Co. Virginia. William Hickman volunteered while living in Frederick Co. Virginia about Jan. 1st 1777. Under Col. Thornton. Aid de camp. Witness L.S. Hickman relationship not stated.
