OWNERS: Bane Family DESCRIPTION: (blank) HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: James Bane Was born May 11, 1754 & who in consort with Elizabeth his wife Lived 50 years and raised 1 son & 5 daughters & Dec. The 15, of January 1855 F. James Bane Born July 9, 1778 Died April 15, 1850 The deceased was for many years a member of the Presbyterian church Maria Wife of Madison Allen Born 29th April 1807 Died 9th July 1852 Being 45 yrs. 2 mo. & 10 days old She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and as such led a pious & Exemplary life as a mother she was patient & kind as a wife cheerful & affectionate as a mistres indulgent and merciful. She was the mother of 7 children. Three sons and four daughters, six of which are living to deplore the separation & less which this earth cannot replace. May her remains rest with its mother dust until Christ shall in glory bid it rise. In Memory of John H. Bane Born June 7th, 1809 Died May 21, 1856 Aged 46 years 11 months & 11 days In Memory of Nancy Daughter of Jesse & Anna Bane Who died March 24th, 1856 Aged 31 yrs. 7 mo. 13 days She was an exemplary member of the Baptist Church & Died in the full assurance of faith & immortality. She had a mansion bright and fair Built by God of love All that is mortal sleeping here Her spirit dwells above. In Memory of Sarah Daughter of Jesse and Anna Bane She was baptised into the Baptist Church Oct. 1842 & Died a most consistant member of the same Nov. 7th 1856 Aged 30 yrs. 9 mo. 18 days Beneath this slab our sister lies Her body mouldering with the dust Her spirit wafted to the skies To dwell forever with the just. In Memory of Francis Ann Wohlford Born on the 18, Jan. 1843 & Died the 25, Sept. 1880 aged 13 years 8 months & 5 days Weep not O weep not kindred dear For her these last remains lie here For Jesus she on earth did love And now she dwells with him above.
