Aged 67 years 3 months 17 days
He was consort of Jane Johnson
For the High esteem for departed worth
this monument is erected in memory
of him who was beloved by
all who knew him.
Remember man as you pass by
As you are now so once was I
As I am now so you must be
Prepare for death and follow me.
Be ye also ready for in such an
hour as ye think not the Son of
man cometh.

Born June 8, 1859
Died Dec. 20, 1861


This stone 
Erected by her children
Marks the grave of
Jane Johnson
Born July 15, 1796
And died in Christian faith
and hope, June 16, 1854
Her name with us shall live
Through long receding years
Embalmed with all our hearts can give
Our praise and our tears.
