GILES COUNTY, VA - DEEDS - Robert Gore to Balt Woodram, 28 Apr 1828

     THIS INDENTURE made this 28th day of April in the year of our
Lord 1827 Between Robert Gore & Balt Woodram both of the County of
Giles and State of Virginia  WITNESSETH that the said Robert Gore
for and in cosideration of the sum of one dollar in hand paid by
the said Balt Woodram the receipt thereof  is hereby acknowledged
do give grant bargain & sell unto the said Balt Woodram his heirs
and assigns a part of a certain tract of land containing 120 acres
be the same more or less lying and being in the County of Giles on
Stoney Run a branch of Island Creek, which is a part of a survey
containing two hundred & seventeen acres bearing date the 20th day
of March 1787 when the County of Giles was  then Montgomery for
which there was a grant or patten issued to Alexander Stewart
bearing date the 12th day of September 1793 and the said Robert
Gore now deeded the aforesaid part of one hundred and twenty acres
to Balt Woodram BEGINNING on the east side of said survey at two
hickory saplings & black oaks thence running rether north west
course to two white oaks and hickory saplings thence running rether
south west to three populars thence running northwest neare the
corner of a fence to a White oak thence with the fence on the
outside to the _____ line and is considered to be the end he now
lives on together with its appertainces to the said Balt Woodram &
his heirs forever to the sole use and behoof of the said Balt
Woodram for himself and his heirs & the said Robert Gore for
himself and his heirs to the said tract or parcel of land with its
appertainces to the said Balt Woodram & his heirs against the clame
or clames of all and every other person whatsoever will forever
warrant and defend.  In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand
and Sel this day and date above written.
