GILES COUNTY, VA - DEEDS - Adam Taylor Heirs to James Wilson, 16 Feb 1832 ----¤¤¤---- DEED BY HEIRS OF ADAM TAYLOR This Indenture made and entered into this 16th day February 1832 between James Taylor and William Taylor, Allen Taylor and Linda Taylor, Polly Taylor and Patsy Wilson the wife of James Wilson the legatees of Adam Taylor, Decd. of one part of the county of Giles and State of Virginia and James Wilson of the same State and county aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth the said legatees of aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred Dollars to them in hand paid by the said James Wilson before the sealing and delivering of these preasants the receipt whereof they doth acknowledge and give grant bargain and sold and by these preasants doth give grant bargain alien and confirm into the said James Wilson his heirs forever a certain tract or parcel of land containing fifty acres, to the same more or less, being a part of a tract of three hundred and thirty acres granted to Valentine Harmon the 19th of April 1754, and by bargan and sale to Adam Taylor and by bargan and sale by the said legatees to the said James Wilson joining the lands of John and Barbara Lugar and John S. Casby, and bounded as follows, to wit -- Beginning at two black ashes a noted corner of said survey neare the land of said Lugars on the bank of Little creek S49.E26 poles to white oak a corner to Lugars land, south 20 poles to two white oaks by a path S50W124 poles to a white oak saplin near the head of spring S30W some poles to John S. Casbys line to sugar tree near the ford of sinking and with the lines of said Casby land near the mouth of Little creek, thence across the the road near some rocks and up a steep hill supposed to be near a N'west corse to a north line of the said tract to a black oak sapling and thence N41E suposed to be between three hundred and four hundred poles to the beginning with its appertainances to have and to hold the said tracts or parsel or parsels of land with the appertainances to the said James Wilson his heirs and assigns against the claim of them the said James and William Taylor and Allen Taylor, and Linda Taylor Polly Taylor Patsy Wilson the wife of John Wilson the legatees of Adam Taylor decd. and their heirs or any claiming by through or under them or against the claim of all and ever other person or persons whatsoever and warrant and forever defend by these presents in testimony whereunto the said legatees aforesaid hath hereunto set their hands and affix there seals the day and date above writen Teste James Taylor John L.
