NAME: Mrs. Elizabeth Hamblin Gordon, born Dec. 12, 1845, age 89 as of 1935,
resied with Mrs. Birdie Pendus, widow of Geo. Washington Gordon who died on
Nov. 29, 1921 in Oakvale, VA

GILES COUNTY, VA (Narrows)

MEMBER OF: 5th VA Infantry, Company K. Appointed Corporal in 1862.  On sept.
17, 1862 was wounded at Sharpsburg, and on May 5,  1865 he was wounded at
Chancellorsville; sent to General Hospital at Staunton.
