MEMBER OF: Company F, 54th VA Regt

***Transcriber was unable to read so many of the documents but was able to
glean that there was controversy over Harrell serving in this regt.  Some
letters claimed the people of his company did not know him and that he
deserted, but upon explanation and oath, James F. Harrell had been cut off
from his company, but did return, therefore, becoming eligible for his
pension.
