NAME: J.. R. Mullins, not found as J. K. Mullins in War Records, age 72 as of 1908, captured in Maryland in July, 1864. Union Prisoner of War Records show that J. K. Mullins, Co. A, 13th VA Battalion July 10, 1864 at Frederick, Maryland. Paroled at Fort McHenry, Md. and transferred to Point Lookout, Md on Sept. 27, 1864 where he was paroled three days later. GILES COUNTY, VA--Pearlsburg MEMBER OF: Capt. Wm. M. Lowry's Co., McLaughlin's Battalion of Artillery. (See above) **transcriber notes that the orginal files had James K. Mullins as age 72, but war records show him as Joseph R. Mullins. The file with James K. Mullins has him as leaving the service in April 9, 1865. All the records were together.
