Lemay as her moity (sic) of the land demised to the aforesaid Susanah Johns and Samuel Lemay by Wm. Lemay dec'd as per Will of the aforesaid Wm Lemay dec'd. For and in consideration of which the aforesaid Susanah agrees to give twenty five acres more to the upper part than the lower part and also agrees to have the dividing line straightened and as nearly parrelell as possible in laying of the above mentioned twenty five acres as agreed. Given under our hands and seals this 20th day August 1828. Susanah Johns, Samuel Perrin, Samuel Lemay Test: Jno. O. Trueheart B. Bradshaw James Fardin (?) Frederick Harris who has become the purchaser of Sam'l Lemays interest in the land within mentioned has agreed to and with Susanna Johns to abide by and confirm the division there of made by David Richardson in pursuance of the within agreement as per plat of record in the Office of Goochland County. And it is also further agreed between the same parties that the fence lately run by Rog't Maupin from the Hiccory Corner in a Southeasternly direction to the lower or Eastern line of the Woodville tract shall be considered as the line between the said Woodville tract and the lands of the said Susanna Johns - In testimony whereof they have hereto set their hands and seals this 14th day of August 1830. Fred Harris, Susanna Johns Witness: Lewis Mahanes Rob't Maupin John Lang At a court held for Goochland county 21st March 1831 This Agreement was presented in Court and proved by the oath of John Lang to be the act and deed of Susanna Johns and Frederick Harris and ordered to be certified. And at a Court held for the said County 15th August 1831 This Agreement was further proved by the oath of Robert Maupin to be the act and deed of Susanna Johns and Frederick Harris and ordered to be certified. And at a Court held for Goochland county 19th September 1831, This agreement was fully proved by the oath of Lewis Mahanes to be the act and deed of Susanna Johns and Frederick Harris and ordered to be recorded.
