Will of. Son Richard, 360 acres, purchased of Richard Adams and being near Genito Creek. Son Joseph 200 acres on Beaver Dam and Buffaloo Creek, where testator lives. Granddaughter Jane Pleasants, a negro girl named Sarah. Granddaughter Ann Watson, a negro girl named Milley. Grandson Reuben Pleasants, a negroe named Cloe. Son Richard, a Bay mare. Granddaughter Jane Pleasants, one bed & Furniture. Beloved wife Ann the use of my negro girls Fanny, Sylva and Sall, for her natural life, also my household and kitchen furniture not before mentioned; and after the death of his wife the sd. Ann, the sd. negroes to fall in the division heretofore mentioned, and the household and Kitchen furniture to go to his son Joseph. The residue part of his negroes, being two girls lent testators daughter Martha Watson and one girl lent testators son Richard are to be divided equally by testators friends Thomas Pleasants, Thomas Hatcher and William Royster among testators three children Martha Watson, Richard and Joseph Pleasants. Desires that his wife may hold, possess, and enjoy peacably his house, plantation &c. whereon he lives during her life.
