Thomas___X___ Pleasants, of the Co. of Goochland, St. James Parish Notham, Will 
of. Son Robert, 15 acres to the north of 50 acres formerly given said Robert by 
deed. Son Thomas 65 acres adj. My son Robert. Son Jesse, 65 acres laid off the 
south side of testators land including the house and plantation of which sd. 
testator lives. Daughter Ann Martin, one Bridle Heifer and feather bed and 
furniture. Daughter Elizabeth one red Heifer and one feather bed & furniture. 
Son Jesse a red Heifer. Remainder of his estate after his debts are paid to be 
equally divided between the testators five children, Robert, Thomas, Ann, 
Elizabeth and Jesse. Appoints his beloved brother John Pleasants and his nephew 
Jos. Pleasants of Goochland executors. Wit. Robert Shapart, Stephen Nowlin, 
William Rogers. Proved & recorded Aug. 21, 1775. Mch. 8 1775. (D. & W. Bk. 11,
