Access is by an old roadbed on the left side of the road at the “End Of State Maintenance” sign. GPS Coordinates: N 36.68697 W 080.98257 A descendant erected these four monuments and built a concrete block wall inside the cemetery which surrounds these graves: WILLIAMS, James No dates Shared Stone WILLIAMS, Seannie No dates Maiden name Patton WILLIAMS, Mary 1866 1897 Wife of James M Bourne *Oct 24 1867 *Feb 19 1897 Daughter of James Williams and Sena (Patton) Williams PATTON, Cynthia No Dates Surrounding the cement block wall are several graves, indicated by sunken ground and fieldstones. I found only one grave with a marked stone. It has the initials C M W engraved on it. By tradition the following are buried here in unmarked graves: *PATTON, Thomas Sr. 1770 About 1822 *PATTON, Isabella About 1775 Unknown Wife of Thomas *PATTON, James About 1793 1820-21 Son of Thomas *PATTON, Nancy (Hill) About 1795 1860-70 Wife of James Information indicated by an (*) is from research done by Elsie Leagan Completed Jan 10 2006
