Cox and Prudence his wife Susannah Toliver David Cox and Lucy his wife Joseph Doughton & Polly his wife Bartholomew Austin and Ann his wife Samuel Phips and Elizabeth his wife of the one part and Jesse Rieves Junr of the other part Witnesseth that for the sum of three hundred Dollars to them in hand paid by the said Jesse Rieves Junr the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and themselves therewith fully paid and satisfied hath Given Granted bargained sold conveyed and delivered & by these presents doth Give Grant bargain sell enfeoff & deliver unto him the sd. Jesse Rieves Junr a certain Tract or Parcel of Land Containing One hundred & thirty four acres Lying and being in the County of Grayson & state of Virginia on the south side of New river bounded as follows, Beginning at a white Walnut on the bank of said River N90 E 18 poles with the state line to a Locust NE-- poles to a stake N 25 E 44 poles to a white Walnut sapling N 65 E 100 poles S70 E100 poles to a Sycamore on the bank of sd. River and thence down the several meanders thereof --- poles to the beginning with all and singular every right title interest and entitlement (?) to the said Lands & premises belonging or in any wise appertaining to him the said Jesse Rieves or his heirs and assigns forever to have and to hold absolutely free & clear of all claims, of them the said Jesse Rieves John Rieves Zachariah Osborn & Charity his wife Susanah Toliver Andrew Cox & Prudence his wife Joseph Doughton & Polly his wife David Cox & Lucy his wife Samuel Phips & Elizabeth his wife & Bartholomew Austin & Ann his wife their heirs & assigns for ever In testimony whereof they and each of them have hereunto set their hands and affixed their seals the day and date first above written.
