The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net ************************************************************************ LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF THOMAS OGLE Book 1, Page 21 In the name of God amen I Thomas Ogle of the County of Grayson and State of Virginia being sick and weak in body but of sound mind and desposing memory for which I thank God and call to mind the uncertainty of human life and being desirous to dispose of all such worldly estate as it hath pleased God to bless me with I give and bequeath the same in manner following that is to say, First I give to my wife Elizabeth Ogle all the movable property of my estate for and during the term of her natural life and after her decease I give the same to my Children herein after mentioned equally to be divided among them and to be enjoyed by them forever and secondly I give to my son John Olge one Dollar, and 3rdly I give to my son Thomas Ogle one Dollar, and 4thly I give unto my son Hercules Ogle one Dollar and 5thly I give unto my son William Ogle on Dollar, and 6thly I give to my son James Ogle one Dollar, and 7thly I give to my Daughter Sarah Langen one Dollar, and 8thly I give to my Daughter Elizabeth Jennings one dollar and 9thly I give to my Daughter Hannah Richeson one cow. Which I give ____ their ____ executors and administrators and ____ forever and lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my friends Elizabeth Ogle and James McCluer executors of my last will and testament hereby this second day of March in the year of our Lord 1802. This last will and testament of Thomas Ogle dec’d was produced in Court and proven by the subscribing witnesses and ordered to be Recorded. And Elizabeth Ogle one of the Executrix therein named came into Court and entered into Bond with security and qualified according to Law.
