Boone Cemetery Location: North of Emporia, Virginia, 13 miles, go 1 mile northwest on Route #58, thence 9 miles to Purdy, on Route #32, thence east 3 miles on Route #619, on north side of road. Greensville County DATE: 1826 to 1856. OWNERS: On property of Mr. M.M. Jones. (1937) DESCRIPTION: The grave with a marble slab marker is located under a walnut tree, about 200 yards in front of the Jones’ home, and has the Masonic Square and Compass engraved on it. The Fellow Craft or second degree of the lodge. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: It has the following inscription: Francis W.
