Deed - Haley Dupree to Davis Dupree (Deed Book 5, page 121, Greensville Co.VA.) THIS INDENTURE made and entered into this (Blank) day of December in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and eighteen between Haley Dupree of the County of Greensville and State of Virginia of the one part, and Davis Dupree of the County and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred & Eighteen dollars to the said Haley Dupree in hand paid by the said Davis Dupree the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged as full payment & satisfaction hath bargained sold and delivered unto the said Davis Dupree one certain tract or parcel of Land being situate in the County aforesaid and bounded to wit by the lands of George W.Williamson, Tazwel Dupree, Lewis Dupree and (Blank) Dupree infant Children of Thomas Dupree Junr.dec'd. Containing twenty nine and a half acres more or less it being the land the said Haley Dupree heired from his father Thomas Dupree dec'd. as reference to the Surveyors books will fully show to have and to hold the said recited land and premises unto the said Davis Dupree his heirs and assigns (in a sure Estate of inheritance in fee simple) and the said Haley Dupree doth by these presents forever warrant and defend the right and title of the said Land and all its appurtenances unto the said Davis Dupree against the claim of any person whatsoever.
