GREENSVILLE COUNTY, VA - DEEDS - Louisa T. Flythe to J. A. Grizzard --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- Greensville Co., Deed Book No 25, page 332. This Deed, made and entered into this the 28th day of January, in the year 1905, by and between Louisa T. Flythe (unmarried), party of the first part, and J. A. Grizzard, party of the second part, all of the county of Greensville, State of Virginia. Witnesseth:-That for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred and sixty dollars ($460.00), cash in hand paid by the said party of the second part to the said party of the first part before the signing, sealing and delivery of this deed, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the said party of the first part doth hereby grand, bargain, sell and convey, with general warranty, unto the said party of the second part, the following described real property, to-wit:- All that certain tract, piece or parcel of land situate, lying and being in Zion Magisterial District, Greensville County, Virginia, containing Ninety two (92) acres, more or less, and adjoining the lands of the said Louisa T. Flythe on the North and East, and the lands of the estate of L. W. Johnson, deceased, on the South and West; it being a portion of the lands formerly belonging to Solomon Flythe, deceased, and is the identical piece or parcel of land conveyed to the said Louisa T. Flythe by deed from George W. Flythe and wife of record in the Clerk’s office of the Circuit Court of the county of Greensville, Virginia, in and more accurate description of the property hereby conveyed. The said party of the first part covenants that she has the right to convey the said land to the grantee; that she has done no act to encumber the same; that the grantee shall have quiet possession of the said property, free from all encumbrances, and that she, the said party of the first part, will execute such further assurances of the same as may be requisite. Peyton Turner, a commissioner in chancery for the Circuit Court of the County aforesaid, in the State of Virginia, do hereby certify that Louisa T. Flythe, whose name is signed to the foregoing and hereto annexed writing, bearing date on the 28th day of January, 1905, has acknowledged the same before me in my County aforesaid. Given under my hand this the 28th day of January, 1905. In the Clerk’s office of the Circuit Court of the County of Greensville on the 7th day of February 1905. This deed of Bargain and Sale from Louisa T. Flythe to J. A. Grizzard was this day lodged in the said office, and was, together with the certificate thereon, admitted to record at 1 o’clock p.m. Teste: E.
