Deed - John J.Rideout to James A.Buckner
(Deed Book 20, page 163, Greensville Co.VA.)

This deed made this 6th day of June 1896, between John J.Rideout and
Etta C., his wife of the County of Dinwiddie, State of Virginia, of the
first part, and James A.Buckner of the County of Greensville, State of
Virginia, of the second part; Witnesseth: That in consideration of the
sum of three hundred dollars, the receipt whereof is hereby 
acknowledged, the said John J.Rideout and Etta C., his wife do grant
bargain and convey unto the said James A.Buckner,with general warranty,
tract of land being in the County of Greensville, State of Virginia,
containing one hundred and thirteen acres and bounded as follows; on
the North by the lands of Rideout, and others, on the East and South by
a tract of land known as Bendalls and on the West by Jordans Creek.
Witness the following signatures and seals the day and date above 
Mention.

State of Virginia,
Dinwiddie County} to-wit:
I, Robert Fraser a Justice of Peace for the County of Dinwiddie, do
hereby certify that J.J. Rideout and Etta C.Rideout, his wife, whose
names are signed to the foregoing deed bearing date the 6th day of June
1896, has this day acknowledged the same before me as their act and
deed in my County aforesaid.-
Given under my hand this 30th day of June 1897.

In the Clerks Office of Greensville County Court on the 1st day of July
1897.- This Deed of bargain & sale from Jno.J.Rideout & wife to James
A.Buckner was this day lodged in the said office and was together with 
Certificate thereon admitted to record at 4 o'clock pm.
