She was a former co-owner of Pack Horse Restaurant and Crescent Lodge in Petersburg. She was a member of Monumental United Methodist Church in Emporia. She is survived by two daughters, Ann Robbins of Williamsburg and Gina Collett of Richmond; one son Edgar A. Jett IV of Williamsburg; three grandchildren; aunts, Lena P. Taylor and Adrienne Powell Edwards, both of Emporia, and Gladys Pair Robbins of Courtland; and uncle, William Powell of Emporia. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Echols Funeral Home Chapel with private interment services in Emporia Cemetery.
